Description
When you support students with disabilities in the classroom, you need some easy and doable tools in your toolbelt. How can you help and support in general so that special education students are more successful in the classroom? Well, this session is for you!
In this course from Noodle Nook, Ayo Jones shares general instructional strategies for supporting students in special education. This session works well for training and preparing special education paraeducators, but it is also helpful for any support staffer who is working with students who are struggling in the classroom.
This session is part of the Special Education Paraeducator Training Series. The series is all about preparing paraeducators (and their teacher partners) to support students with disabilities in the classroom. This series delivers on guidelines, best practices, essential strategies, and critical information to support staff specific to working in special education.
Most importantly, as part of this series, you’ll develop a better understanding of what you can and should do in the classroom to support students with disabilities. Guided by best practices, our general guidelines, and a student-centered mentality, your special education team will be stronger and more effective.
