In this lesson, Kim Tredick provides an in-depth introduction to the Depth and Complexity icons, visual prompts that serve as critical thinking tools. The icons are foundational to the Depth and Complexity Framework.
Ms. Tredick covers the following in her presentation:
- A brief history of the Depth and Complexity Framework
- An introduction to what differentiation is and why it’s needed
- An explanation of the Depth and Complexity prompts and their icons
- Examples of easy ways to implement the icons
