    9. Cecilia – UNITED ISD (verified owner)

      great

    10. Jeffrey – EANES ISD (verified owner)

She had quite a few anecdotes, but her examples were spot on.

    11. William – WESLACO ISD (verified owner)

I think that this course was well rounded in how to teach students to write at a higher level of thinking. The presenter brought up some very good content, such as rhetorical analysis.

    12. Lane – EANES ISD (verified owner)

This course is excellent but poorly titled. The title should allude that the course is about writing. While the instructor was very good, the course wasn’t very helpful to my subject.

    13. Terrasita – BEAUMONT ISD (verified owner)

Great ideas to get students writing!

    14. Elizabeth – MCALLEN ISD (verified owner)

I learned so much about the expectations of an AP Language class. I am not a teacher, I am a counselor and I will take her courses anytime.

    15. Sarah – GEORGETOWN ISD (verified owner)

      very informative

    16. Alan – EANES ISD (verified owner)

There was a lot of useful information and specific tips for higher level thinking.

    17. Cynthia – WASHINGTON LOCAL (verified owner)

      excellent

    18. Chris – BURLESON ISD (verified owner)

      Good training!

    20. Rolando – LA FERIA ISD (verified owner)

This course gave me the direction to the rhetorical bulls-eye I’m needing in English 1301 and 1302.

    21. Monica – WESLACO ISD (verified owner)

This was very helpful! I would’ve like access to pdfs of the documents mentioned.

    22. Madeline – GEORGETOWN ISD (verified owner)

I thought the title was slightly deceiving. I thought it was language like foreign language….I feel that the content was for English language. I think this is an outdated course in multiple aspects, and that if you’re going to talk about the American Dream and founding fathers that you need to talk about those that the American Dream discriminated against and opporessed. This class seems to be portraying a hidden bias of the White narraitive, but not people of color. While the white narrative is important, I think more authors or color could be incorporated as well as history of oppression during these times founding America. I would recommend “The American School” by Joel Spring and “Reclaiming the Multicultural Roots of U.S Curriculum” byWayne Au to learn how to better incorporate ALL of America’s history, languages, and culture.

    23. Julissa – UNITED ISD (verified owner)

very informative for teachers teaching high school students

    24. Delia – UNITED ISD (verified owner)

It was a good module, but it needs to be updated. This was from 2016.

    27. Megan – EANES ISD (verified owner)

I can’t believe I actually enjoyed a GT update course and got something out of it.

    28. David J. – ECTOR COUNTY ISD (verified owner)

While I agree with the speaker on much of what she said, and I like her ideas, this was more of a “this is what I do in my class” course, rather than a how-to.

    29. ROSAANGELICA O – SOCORRO ISD (verified owner)

It was a great course that covers a lot of contents.

    30. Marsha – MIDWAY ISD – WOODWAY (verified owner)

I found the content of this course engaging, informative, and useful.

    31. ESPERANZA – SAN FELIPE-DEL RIO CISD (verified owner)

It was not appropriate for me since I teach kindergarten. However, it was very interesting.

    32. Dr. Natalie – BEAUMONT ISD (verified owner)

5 Star. I really loved her focus on the American voice –what is it to be an American with diversified points of view who have utilized the same textual allusions in America and globally.

    33. Chrissy – DRIPPING SPRINGS ISD (verified owner)

Seeing a break down of another teacher’s AP lang course was great!

    35. ADAN – SOCORRO ISD (verified owner)

      Wonderful.

I like the flexibility to do at my own pace.

I will definitely be using the strategies that I have learned with my students.

    39. Jenna – DRIPPING SPRINGS ISD (verified owner)

Course was fine; if you have experience teaching AP Lang., or upper level courses, this is likely a review.

It was informative, even though I don’t teach English.

    41. Alyssa – FLOUR BLUFF ISD (verified owner)

I liked the course for the variety of ideas to take back to my classroom; however, I believe some of the content might be heavy for my 8th grade students.

    42. Christina – PROSPER ISD (verified owner)

This aligns strongly with my understanding of AP Lang and would really help teachers who have not had experience with this course.
