I thought the information and strategies presented in this course were FANTASTIC! I loved all of the discussion questions and I thought the presenter did a wonderful job. I liked how she told personal stories from her own point of view and from people or students she knows. I was really able to connect with this course and thoroughly enjoyed taking it!

The student resembled a dependent conformer. The student’s reading level was well above grade level but student did very little reading. The class had a reading goal each six weeks and the student never reached the goal. The class had an individual tracker to track reading and progress. Towards the end of the year student started reading more but not to her full potential. All students chose their own reading material.

Would probably be fine if it aligned at all with the population that I teach, but it doesn’t so it feels like a state mandated waste of my time which is actually taking resources FROM my stident population.
