  22. Kyle – RIDGEWOOD LOCAL (verified owner)

This course was a great way to provide educators different ways to make writing creative. For instance, using and teaching students to use figurative language is a great way to make their writing come to life and be more enjoyable to read. This course also provided great techniques to use when trying to help writers become better at their craft.

The presenter was fine and she had great ideas. I should have read the description more to make sure it was for a grade level/age I teach. It was more for younger ages. I could use these as jumping off points but would have to do a lot more to use it for high school.

Excellent content. Although I teach MS ( I was an elementary teacher/principal), there so many outstanding ideas to use with students in this presentation. If you can’t find an idea to help your kids “love writing,” you probably haven’t watched the presentation. Shannon makes reading text, books, and presenting her own information fun and enjoyable! She is a great presenter and sometimes I feel like I am back in elementary school listening to one of my favorite teachers read!
