Great! I can work at my own pace.

  2. Nicole – Private Pay (verified owner)

I always love learning from Lisa Van Gemert, particularly on Depth and Complexity. I would say, though, that the handout needs to be updated. Several of the links posted on it lead to broken or blocked sites that I couldn’t access. In particular, the question toolkit and the question/response cards.

  3. Merve – HPS – CENTRAL TX (verified owner)

I am wondering except the tests given the kids, would classroom observation be useful tool to differentiate GT students. Also, what is the best way to serve gifted students? Pull out from classes or other methods…

  4. Opal – LUBBOCK ISD (verified owner)

Speaker is boring and uses so many filler words like ummmmm. Also no hand out is provided making it hard to follow along

    A few things:
I would refrain from using the word “redneck.” You meant it as an insult when you noted your surprise that something sophisticated could be created by someone who spoke with a “redneck” accent. I was shamed out of my Fort Worth accent by teachers when I moved north.
I also would consider the knowledge base of your students. I know how to make a rubric. A quick link would suffice.
I did enjoy the first lesson in this series. They included new ways of injecting creativity in the classroom. It seemed incongruent with the fussy precision of these tools.
