Description
In this course, Carolyn Coil explains why students are less creative than earlier generations and why this trend must be reversed for 21st century learners. Using Ms. Coil’s unique lesson plan formats, you will be able to develop creative thinking in your students as well as assess student creativity through open-ended assessment tools.
In this 6-hour course, you will learn:
- The critical case for teaching creativity in the 21st century
- How creativity and giftedness are related
- Criteria and methods for assessing creative projects and presentations
- Four standards-based lesson plan formats to use in developing creativity and higher-level thinking
This course is aligned with 2016 ODE Teacher Competencies a, b, c, f, g and NAGC Teacher Preparation Standards 3.1, 5.1, 5.2.

I think the actual content and presentation was fine. I had trouble with getting the sound to work consistently and the module 5 quiz kept telling me I had answered incorrectly on a question when I answered exactly as the handout and presenter had listed the order of Questivity Thinking questions. Did it several times and always the same.
