Description
Differentiation in the classroom might be a little bit like riding a bike — you never forget how to do it, but you can also always learn a new trick or two! In this course, Diane Heacox, Ed.D., unpacks two important strategies: tiered assignments and flexible instructional grouping. If you are not using these two strategies correctly, you may not even be using differentiation.
In this 1-hour course, you will learn:
- The principles of tiered assignments and flexible grouping
- How to design tiered assignments
- How to determine student readiness
- Other methods of tiered assignments

I really like the course and it was very informative. The only thing I had an issue with was the videoing of the lecture. The content was interesting and loved that she gave lots of examples. She moved around a lot and it was hard to see. I got very distracted because it was not well lit. Maybe a mic and having someone do video would help. I did like that it was broke down into small chunk and I could go at my own pace.
