Mr. Iseminger was an outstanding speaker and his knowledge of differentiation very evident.
This course is perfect for teachers who need assistance with differentiation in their classrooms. The activities, games and resources Bob shared are easy to work through and definitely benefit student learning and provide bounds of info to the teachers about their students’ backgrounds, knowledge and experiences, their flexibility or lack thereof, their leaning levels (both independent and instructional), whether they are right or left hemispheric learners and more. There is nothing worse than attending a seminar, conference, PD, or internet course where you listen to the speaker and then leave at the end with nothing that you can actually utilize in your classroom the very next day. Bob’s differentiated activities can be easily (and most will very little prep) implemented in any classroom and provide opportunities for success for all types of learners. The Demystifying Differentiation in the Elementary Classroom is one of the very best resources I have in my collection. All teachers in need of differentiation need this book! Fantastic course!

I loved the idea he showed and see how it can be used in a classroom. However, I think most are not specifically geared towards GT students but instead it’s more geared for a whole class. There were a few that I definitely could see being useful for GT like the Tier one with the choices. Overall it was great suggestions just not all I was hoping for.
