Some people think being creative in the classroom is a skill you are born with: if you happen to have it, creativity will come easy, but for the rest of us, creativity is out of reach. Dr. Joyce Juntune says that isn’t the case at all. Just like many other skills, creative thinking can be taught. In part one of this nine-part course “Developing Creative Thinking in the Classroom – Key Ideas” lays the foundation for creativity. Dr. Juntune shares an overview of what creativity is and why it is important to teach in schools.
