  1. Paul – HARMONY SCIENCE ACAD (EL PASO) (verified owner)

This course contains useful strategies for the classroom teacher. It does give some background but not so much that you want to exit. I especially liked the discussion of tiering and compacting, as I have some small prior experience with mastery-based learning. In all, a good training with plenty of suggested and useful websites that provide materials and options for the hard-pressed teacher. I believe I can go beyond what I am doing now, thanks to these modules.

  30. Rose – HARMONY SCIENCE ACADEMY & SCHOOL OF SCIENCE – HOUSTON SOUTH 101846 OR 101862 (verified owner)

It is all right but slightly redundant, as in the same concept was said in many different ways. Ironically I felt like a bored G/T student.

  45. Hope – SOCORRO ISD (verified owner)

Although much of this course was highly informational I found that the tiered learning lesson plans of math and language arts to drag on far too long with information that could of been simplified. I also thought that the difference and similarities between tiering and compacting could of been further explained. As I still felt somewhat confused regardless of taking notes and listening intently. Other than that I enjoyed learning about differentiation in this course.
