This dual-purpose course is designed to both prepare teachers for the TExES exam and meet the Texas 6-hour update requirement for existing G/T teachers. Lynette Breedlove, Ph.D. has been teaching this course for over a decade. In addition to covering foundational principles of gifted education, this course introduces you to some of the leading thinkers in the field of giftedness.

The course is great, however, I would suggest updating the section that references the Texas State Plan. The course is using the version from 2009. The plan was last updated in 2019. The quiz on the state plan is not even relevant since the plan has been updated.
