This course gave me a better understanding how outside factors such as upbringing, parental and mentor support, curriculum, training, social and emotional status can be of negative and positive catalysts (flow) that can advance help a gifted individual thrive or be hindered to thrive. As educators we should find creative ways to train and guide GT students to learn how to thrive in a changing world.
