Visible thinking is a concept that may not be used in mathematics regularly. However, the benefits of incorporating this idea into your classroom instruction can have astounding effects on students’ learning.
In this course, participants will explore ways to make student thinking visible in the math classroom. Several examples of visible thinking routines and practical application tips are shared. At the end of the session, participants will be prompted to design an activity with a visible thinking routine intentionally.
