Description
Creativity is not always about artistic endeavor. In “Planning for the Unexpected: Opening the Door for Creativity in the Classroom,” Tara Nyikos, M. Ed. and Amy Willerson present a framework for creating a classroom that fosters the opportunity for the unexpected to happen. When students experience the unexpected, their creativity is engaged. While the framework is simple and familiar, it will open your mind to the possibilities for more creativity in your classroom.
In this 1-hour course, you will learn strategies for:
- Sensitizing for Creativity
- Enabling Students to be Creative
- Teaching Techniques and Instruments
- Allowing and Planning Time for Reflection and Repetition
