This course is very informative. It allows you to think about GT in a different way by using the Bell Curve and tiering. It also defines GT and why it is so relevant in school today. Lastly, it provides more opportunities for students that need it.

I appreciated the comparison of the RtI triangle and how it could be applied to supporting gifted students. I also like how she replaced “intervention” with “advancement” to show we’re supporting not only low learners but also the high learners. Adding the Bell curve as an overlay to the mirrored triangle really helps to better understand the curve and where students are.
