Presenter: Dr. Joyce Juntune, Texas A&M University
Core Area: Creativity & Instruction
Grade Level: Elementary & Secondary

When questioning ceases, the learning stops. Questioning allows your students to build the habit of curiosity. In education, sometimes we think learning is all about the answers, but there is also an art to teaching students to be inquisitive. Great questioning is best taught by teachers who model great questions. This course shows you how.

  31. Roger – COLUMBUS CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT (verified owner)

This would be really good for a new teacher but for those of us who have been teaching a long time (I’ve taught over 20 years) it seems pretty basic. We are suppose to differentiate for our students but professional development for educators is rarely – in my experience – differentiated. Some review is fine, but I would like more courses that really challenge me and through which I can learn something news (e.g., advances in the cognitive science of learning).
