Great course! Loved the chirp idea.

  3. Lesley – Defiance City Schools (verified owner)

It was fine- being as I teach special education and not regular education it is unlikely I would ever be delivering these services for a student but there were still some valuable points made

  4. Nikole – Defiance City Schools (verified owner)

This course was very informative. It was interesting that some of the behaviors we see in the classroom are also indicators of a gifted student.

  5. James – Defiance City Schools (verified owner)

Doesn’t seem geared for gifted but applies to all students.

  6. Lauren – Defiance City Schools (verified owner)

I liked the idea of doing home study instead of home work.

  7. Melissa – Defiance City Schools (verified owner)

Bad. Boring. Irrelevant data. Dry. Not engaging. No visuals.

  8. Tammy – Defiance City Schools (verified owner)

It was too advanced and too much information to let sink in for a short period of time.

  9. Amy – Defiance City Schools (verified owner)

This course had great tips for incorporating into the classroom for students to regulate

  10. Teresa – Defiance City Schools (verified owner)

I don’t agree with having a question on the quiz about homework not being effective when, clearly, the practice of homework/home study is very important. I felt that question was quite dismissive.

This course helped me think about the self-regulation needs of not only my GT students, but of all students. It is very important that we model self-regulation and use the gradual release of responsibility model for self-regulation the same way we would for content.
