This course seemed to be more for elementary teachers, rather than for high school science. I had trouble connecting with the experiences being described on many of the slides.

Excellent! This was short and to the point and gave me things that I could use with my TAGT students such as ask them to create questions and provide opportunities for them to create power points as well as other creative forms of expression and give them practice making oral presentations. Thank you for useful information!

While I realize that the presenters are TAG teachers, I think the course needed to expand on how these strategies can help all students in content areas besides language arts and math. I also get the idea that the presenters think that TAG students suffer when doing lower level Bloom skills. I would disagree for two reasons: first, gaps may exist in underlying concepts that could cause frustration when they do accelerated work; and second, some students may need to feel confident about underlying concepts before they attempt accelerated work.
