I am sure this is good for counselors and teachers of small classes. But advanced HS classes with 35+ students – it would be amazing – but the demands of the curriculum, time constraints, testing, etc… In a perfect world ….

  31. Gabrielle – GEORGETOWN ISD (verified owner)

I have ADHD and other neurodivergence and for most of these 30 hour courses what the instructor has been describing is a high-functioning neurodivergent student as someone who would be gifted and talented. I am not saying that all GT students have neurodivergent disabilities, but the criterion presented by the instructor mirrors a lot of the diagnostic criterion for ADHD or Autism and other neurodivergent disorders. I realized she did not understand the neurocomplexities of ADHD specifically when she stated that ADHD means that the child cannot focus on ANYTHING. This is actually the exact opposite. ADHD also incorporates hyperfocus when something interests the child. It became clear to me that she doesn’t know what she is talking about and I feel this training is spreading misinformation to educators.

  32. Gladys – MCALLEN ISD (verified owner)

    Great course!

  33. Norma – UNITED ISD (verified owner)

This training is very difficult to get through. Next time I rather attend a training in person for a week. The lady’s voice is annoying and high pitched. Don’t wish this on anyone. Please do not assign these anymore.
