The video of a sample lesson followed with the video of teachers giving their evaluatios of that lesson was the most helpful thing I found in this training because it was specific and tangible. It could be improved by providing prompts in the moment throughout the sample lesson video of what the teaching was doing well or what the teacher needs improvement on. Immediate feedback is most effective. So it would help to see immediate feedback during the video lesson of where different parts of her lesson fall along the continuum of the rubric. Also, I didn’t see any examples explaining what SLOs are, only theory. Also the user-interface (UI) is a little wonky and could use some touch up. This training has the potential to be great given some of these changes in my opinion.

It was ok. I get it has been designed to be interactive, however I feel that for the amount of content to retain it just seems a bit overwhelming. I feel a bit better about T-TESS. I don’t like the fact that others who are doing the training can view your answers besides the administrators because it was not a discussion style post assignment.
