Rachel – HURST-EULESS-BEDFORD ISD (verified owner) –
I like the video of another teacher teaching and evaluating her according to the standards. That helped me visualize what the categories looked like.
Ebony – Alief ISD (verified owner) –
very informative
Janna – HURST-EULESS-BEDFORD ISD (verified owner) –
This is a great training for people who have not had any experience with being observed or evaluated from a specific rubric. If I hadn’t had experience with something like this, this would have for sure answered all of my questions and settled all of my fears about it.
Chris – BASTROP ISD (verified owner) –
I thought it was a good introduction to T-TESS.
Alyssa – PFLUGERVILLE ISD (verified owner) –
This was extremely helpful. I have been T-TESS observed the last two years and had no idea what it was about. This has given me some insight into what the process is, and why it is used.
Laura – OVERTON ISD (verified owner) –
Probably overly thorough but very easy to understand.
Sarah – PFLUGERVILLE ISD (verified owner) –
This was a very good introduction to the T-TESS system. The pace went well. I think for people just starting with the system, doing a shorter observation and one area (i.e. only 2.1) at a time would have been more helpful than trying to look for everything at once in the domain.
Fallyn – BASTROP ISD (verified owner) –
Very informative and not too overwhelming considering the amount of information involved.
Daryl – BASTROP ISD (verified owner) –
This course was great, and cleared up some thoughts I had before teaching.
Mayra – WINFREE ACADEMY (verified owner) –

Jarrett – HURST-EULESS-BEDFORD ISD (verified owner) –
I thought this course did a really good job of explaining the different aspects of the TTESS rubric that made it very easy to see and understand.
Toni – ANNA ISD (verified owner) –
Honestly, I believe to orientation is a lot of information for a 1st year teacher. I appreciate the information, but I didn’t get this as a para, that position is truly an advocate for the students. If the observation was broken down according to what is expected as a teacher, that will help. During the teaching video, pause it when the teacher models a teaching moment.
Madison – BRAZOS ISD (verified owner) –
It was fantastic and very thorough.
Brittany – HURST-EULESS-BEDFORD ISD (verified owner) –
I would rate this course with 5 stars. The course was informational and helpful in addressing the ins and outs of the T-TESS.
Alexis – BASTROP ISD (verified owner) –
Extremely informative and helpful.
Nicole – BASTROP ISD (verified owner) –
It was informative.
Griselda – ROBSTOWN ISD (verified owner) –
It was nicely broken down into sections for easy understanding.
Landon – PASADENA ISD (verified owner) –
Very informative.
Roger – CELINA ISD (verified owner) –
I think watching a 45 minute video was not an effective use of time. There were certainly good ideas to be gained from this specific teacher’s expertise, but, for the most part, it’s inapplicable to my circumstances. I felt it consumed a significant amount of time and added negligent value.
Haley – BASTROP ISD (verified owner) –
I enjoyed the course!!
Daniel – Alief ISD (verified owner) –
Great tool
Jaseth – BASTROP ISD (verified owner) –
I think that it is a great tool of support for new teachers because will provide a meaningful framework to support teacher development .
Stephanie – PASADENA ISD (verified owner) –
Great course. Nice and easy.
Nick – WINFREE ACADEMY (verified owner) –
I only give it four stars because I’d like to see other grade levels and subjects like a high school algebra class and observe their lessons and rate them. Other than that, fantastic course and its definitely better if you participate by printing out every handout they suggest. I did and it helped in my understanding.
Linda – STANTON ISD (verified owner) –
Excellent
Alexandria – HUDSON ISD (verified owner) –
I felt that this course was informative and allowed me to feel prepared for my first T-ESS evaluation.
Shelby – NAVASOTA ISD (verified owner) –
I really enjoyed this course. After being able to script a lesson myself, I feel more confident in the steps I need to take in order to be successful in my classroom. I learned a lot and it has helped some of the uneasy nerves I have had about evaluations.
Bretta – NAVASOTA ISD (verified owner) –
I think this course was very clear and helpful in explaining the process. The examples and modeling of the T-TESS rubric were especially helpful.
Joseph – ORANGEFIELD ISD (verified owner) –
This course was very informative.
Logan – NAVASOTA ISD (verified owner) –
This course is very insightful. I thought that even though it was 2.5-3 hours long, it was still manageable and engaging.
Lily – HURST-EULESS-BEDFORD ISD (verified owner) –
I really liked this course. I have been trained before, but I liked having the rubric broken down and then being able to practice that on my own. I also liked the comparison of proficient as rock solid because some consider that not good enough or that you can’t be that in some areas it all must be higher. I know that is our goal, but we all have strengths and weaknesses. Also, I like the SLO explanation.
Haylee – WINFREE ACADEMY (verified owner) –
I like the course
Michael – PASADENA ISD (verified owner) –
I’m glad that this was onlne and not in person. I still prefer the old way of teacher evaluation – writing goals for myself is ridiculously hard and feels arbitrary. Still, the pacing of this video was good and I could understand the presenters well.
Sarah – LIBERTY ISD (verified owner) –
I like that it’s interactive!
ReBecca – PASADENA ISD (verified owner) –
This course gives a clear understanding of T-Tess.
Lea – BASTROP ISD (verified owner) –
The videos were really good. The collecting evidence was a bit long and didn’t need to be. I felt a shorter lesson could have been shown to get the gist. Between the print out and the video it wasn’t that had to do, it was just long and tedious.
Ezequiel – KARNES CITY ISD (verified owner) –
It’s actually pretty good. But some of the reflections I find unnecessary. I don’t think they add value to the course.
