Benjamin – PFLUGERVILLE ISD (verified owner) –
I think that this course was useful in explaining how we will be evaluated in observations as teachers and introducing some new terms. I don’t think that this has helped much with teaching strategies or theory, but that would definitely take a bit more time. I think that it addresses a good amount for its length.
Tyler – CORSICANA ISD (verified owner) –
I thought that the course was really informative and helped me figure out a few things.
George – CORSICANA ISD (verified owner) –
It was very informational and insightful.
Michael – EL PASO ISD (verified owner) –
The course is well thought out and delivered but the instructions are hard to follow getting from one module to the next. There are questions asked prior to being taught anything in certain areas–these should be stated as being our opinion because many people know nothing of the process yet. Also, there is nowhere near enough time given to “rate” using the rubric; and no instruction of where the Rubric is to download it.
Delma – EL PASO ISD (verified owner) –
This course is an excellent way to understand and not be nervous about observations. What matters is the progress that the teacher and student will make. Both teacher and student grow!
Mary – HURST-EULESS-BEDFORD ISD (verified owner) –
This was a great training! I refreshed my knowledge and understanding of TTESS while also easing some uneasiness I have been feeling about this subject as a new teacher. I like how the content is broken up into modules. I also like the reflection question portion of the training, it challenged me to use metacognition to analyze my own thinking and understanding of the content!

This will be my first year teaching at a Career & Technology Center and due to the nature of this type of school our preparation is not in Pedagogy, we’re professionals in our different technical fields so I found it sometimes very confusing. Besides that, the content is great.
Rachael – PFLUGERVILLE ISD (verified owner) –
I enjoyed the course, and it was informative and necessary. I think the video of the lesson was helpful, if a bit long. I can see how first-year teachers would really benefit from the video. Honestly, I got a lot of ideas for group activities and classroom decor too! I would have liked less time on the lesson video and more time with SLO examples. I saw a lot of teachers had the same question I did. I know what SLO’s are, I just would have liked to see some examples and ways to measure them. Also, is this linked to salary at all? I don’t think it said.
Sierra – DUNCANVILLE ISD (verified owner) –
It was engaging. It did make me a bit nervous to see that other educators could see my answers because I am a new teacher. However, seeing other responses that mirrored my thoughts was nice.
Shawn – AZLE ISD (verified owner) –
Easy to understand.
