Sarah – SAN MARCOS CISD (verified owner) –
I liked the questions that were asked, because they were opinion questions. Not just about what was on the slides. The explanation of the rubrics and having me do it with them was also very helpful.
Kizuwanda – PASADENA ISD (verified owner) –
It was informative and now I know what the look fors are

Cheryl – CHINA SPRING ISD (verified owner) –
As an educator, I sometimes feel overwhelmed and bombarded with (Standards and TEKS and Domains) instead of doing what we all really love and that is: teaching and helping our students grow. We spend an unbelievable amount of TIME performing these types of duties. While I am NOT, bashing the TTESS, I do feel it is tremendously time consuming.
Alexis – PFLUGERVILLE ISD (verified owner) –
I like this course. I will not walk away from this having questions about the T-TESS and how its suppose to help me as the teacher and the students.
LaToyia – MARSHALL ISD (verified owner) –
It was great and straight to the point.

This training is helpful for me because I am a first year teacher.
colin – DENTON ISD (verified owner) –
Very helpful for new teachers.
Gabriella – PFLUGERVILLE ISD (verified owner) –
This course was very long and comprehensive, which is difficult to complete when you are a full-time, first year teacher and full-time grad school student. This meant that I wasn’t able to put as much into learning the content for this course as I would have liked to.
Christina – SAN MARCOS CISD (verified owner) –
I felt like I had control over the pacing which I appreciated.
Ashley – PFLUGERVILLE ISD (verified owner) –
ok
Jesus – TYLER ISD (verified owner) –
It is good, and you learn new things

Extremely helpful to understand the evaluation process.
Hester – DENTON ISD (verified owner) –
It was enlightening as a teacher to see the rating system.
Ismael – SOUTH SAN ANTONIO ISD (verified owner) –
This is a good course to get introduced to t-tess. It goes over the major components of how it works and its purpose.
Vanessa – ROBSTOWN ISD (verified owner) –
This course was easy to follow and interactive.
Irma – EL PASO ISD (verified owner) –
It seems like these modules and methods are a sound ‘framework’ for continued growth and success for both student and teacher. We need to work together and not apart in order to achieve success.
Jacey – WHITE SETTLEMENT ISD (verified owner) –
Great course
Jessica – SAN FELIPE-DEL RIO CISD (verified owner) –
It’s very well discussed and tell your with detail what it is and the expectations.
Joycelyn – DENTON ISD (verified owner) –
3/5 presents information in a way that makes it harder to grasp the information, I’d like a more direct approach.
Andrew – TYLER ISD (verified owner) –
This training on T-TESS, which is an evaluation system that requires teachers to reflect more deeply on their teaching practice, is reflective in itself, in that it requires participants to reflect on key questions throughout the training.
Neal – FREDERICKSBURG ISD (verified owner) –
The course itself is fine. Taking time to go through it in the midst of a first year of teaching is not optimal. It should be given prior to the first day of teaching when there is more time for reflection.
Macie – DENTON ISD (verified owner) –
I believe it was very informative and concise.
Christopher – TYLER ISD (verified owner) –
This was a great course in provide information that could help me be successful in my classroom.
Diana – SOUTH SAN ANTONIO ISD (verified owner) –
I have been teaching too many years to still have to be doing this training if the system isn’t changin.
Sheree – BEAUMONT ISD (verified owner) –
Very good videos with the teacher giving me good ideas.
Virginia – JUBILEE ACADEMIC CENTER (verified owner) –
I think this was a very useful course to understand how or why it is that we are evaluated by our supervisors.
Caitlin – PFLUGERVILLE ISD (verified owner) –
I think the overall idea of the training (walking us through the evaluation process as the evaluator) is a great idea.
I do feel the 46 minute lesson was way to long and not needed. I don’t feel that was respectful of my time as a professional to ask us to watch an entire lesson when it could have been shortened into a 10 minute video clip.
I did appreciate that the training was broken down into modules so I could stop and revisit it when I had more time.
The final thing I did not like was how they asked us “reflection questions” and then would answer the question in the next slide. A reflection should come after we learn the information, not before.
Sydney – DENTON ISD (verified owner) –
It was a very good course.
Lacy – HALLSVILLE ISD (verified owner) –
Very helpful.
Astrid – DENTON ISD (verified owner) –
Information included was great and very helpful, but I would say a little long specially the 45 minute video watching the teacher. I understand it is necessary for context, but perhaps an overall shorter video would work as well.
Alicia – JUBILEE ACADEMIC CENTER (verified owner) –
A great asset to self evaluate yourself as an educator.
Elizabeth – EL PASO ISD (verified owner) –
I thought it was a very helpful overview, I would loved to have heard with the lesson we viewed was “officially” scored as, to give the watching teacher a better idea or comparison to what they do in their own classroom.
Taylor – PASADENA ISD (verified owner) –
Overall its fairly engaging but but there is still quite a bit of ambiguity in some areas.
Sammy – BASTROP ISD (verified owner) –
I would have given it 5 stars but there were times I had to stop the training to print out a document before continuing.
I think that over all the online training was very good and would recommend it to all the teachers.
Sandra – PFLUGERVILLE ISD (verified owner) –
It was a great course, I’m glad it’s provided because it helps you understand more.
Rebecca – JUBILEE ACADEMIC CENTER (verified owner) –
The teacher video was too long.

Grace – PFLUGERVILLE ISD (verified owner) –
It was informative but slow paced. Understandably so, but still.
