Description
Education is not just about the destination, it’s about every small learning moment along the way. In the same way, T-TESS is not an event, but rather a process that assists educators in all areas of teaching. The T-TESS cycle is designed to help teachers continuously improve.
This course will refresh educators on the T-TESS observations, triangle, and rubric. Responsive Learning carefully presents and explains all of the components of T-TESS and how educators can prepare for them. Through guided questions, educators will have the chance to reflect on their personal instructional practices. After completing this course, educators will be ready to confidently meet their T-TESS goals.
In this 1-hour course educators will learn:
- Components of T-TESS
- The T-TESS process
- The T-TESS rubric
- How to re-evaluate T-TESS goals

Travis – PINE TREE ISD (verified owner) –
Is this really necessary? This is along the lines of havinh to learn and RELEARN about Bloodborne Pathogens or Sexual Harassment training. Maybe necessary for a teacher within their first five years but not after that. At least it’s relatively short and not a FULL 6-hour PD day.
LaJuana – THE VARNETT PUBLIC SCHOOL (verified owner) –
I think the refresher provided detailed information about the T-tess process.

I do agree a standards for teaching need to be in place so that everyone is on the same page. Also, as educators we must provide the best educational strategies for our students and continue growing in this domain.
Amanda – SAN BENITO CISD (verified owner) –
I think it was a great reminder of what I should be doing to help myself improve in my ability to create, execute, and end a lesson. It was a reminder for what I need to be thinking about when I create my lessons. and it reminded me of what I need to include so that if anyone were to come and observe me, they can jump in and be able to see where I am in my lesson.
