Education is not just about the destination, it’s about every small learning moment along the way. In the same way, T-TESS is not an event, but rather a process that assists educators in all areas of teaching. The T-TESS cycle is designed to help teachers continuously improve.
This course will refresh educators on the T-TESS observations, triangle, and rubric. Responsive Learning carefully presents and explains all of the components of T-TESS and how educators can prepare for them. Through guided questions, educators will have the chance to reflect on their personal instructional practices. After completing this course, educators will be ready to confidently meet their T-TESS goals.

This was helpful in reviewing the purpose of T-TESS. As a 3rd year teacher, this was the first time to do this course. I’ve never really understood T-TESS other than knowing it to be a tool for admin to evaluate teachers in a standardized process.

The sentiment is nice: we would all like to improve. The reality is that we barely have time for this. Yes, I have goals, and I have made some steps toward those goals, but the fact is that this is incremental. It is a refresher. I get that. But it just serves to underscore how little headway I am making.
