In this 1-hour course, Lisa Van Gemert breaks down the four most common mental health issues that impact students. An advocate for gifted students, Ms. Van Gemert describes strategies for educators to support and equip gifted students who are struggling to cope in the classroom and out of it.

This course will enable you to:

    I think it is important for us to recognize that our high achieving students can be struggling with mental health. It doesn’t always present itself in the ways we think it might. One of my big takeaways from this course is that we may be encouraging behavior in high achieving students that may diagnose a student who struggles academically.
