In this 1-hour course, Lisa Van Gemert breaks down the four most common mental health issues that impact students. An advocate for gifted students, Ms. Van Gemert describes strategies for educators to support and equip gifted students who are struggling to cope in the classroom and out of it.

This course will enable you to:

  • Understand the complexity of adolescent mental health diagnoses 
  • Appreciate the interplay between therapy, medication and behavioral techniques
