Very clear to understand and follow.

  17. Emily – PFLUGERVILLE ISD (verified owner)

This was for elementary schools, not middle school. My district is making me take this for GT updates, but it is not relevant to my grade level, which is very common for these GT trainings. The trainings focus on elementary students, not middle school or high school. It is such a waste of time. Also, the books in this training were overwhelmingly white (authors and characters), except for the token super-smart Asian stereotype character in a couple of them, which is really bad. One presenter “bragged” that she called her students “lazy readers” because they didn’t like a really old book! Maybe she should choose modern, relevant books for her students instead. These trainings should be better. All the presenters sounded white, they recommended mostly white books – I mean, COME ON. Do better.

  18. Edna – NORTHSIDE ISD – SAN ANTONIO – REGION 20 (verified owner)

  31. Araceli – LAREDO ISD (verified owner)

    Interesting topics

  32. craig – Private Pay (verified owner)

It was a little too heavy on examples of the projects and could give more options

  33. Mary – NORTHSIDE ISD – SAN ANTONIO – REGION 20 (verified owner)

I loved that it was ideas I can turn around and use right away in the classroom. I appreciated that she chose a reasonable amount of ideas and took the time to explain and give examples. I dislike when presenters list like 30 resources or ideas with little development, examples or explanation. Its like drinking from a firehose. TOO much to really take anything useful away.
