Description
In this 3-module course, Ms. Chaffins will lay the groundwork for building tiered lessons using strategies from top educators. To help illustrate these concepts, she has invited Brian Krawetzke and Mark Suter to share the lesson strategies they’ve used in their own classrooms.
Educators will learn about:
- Dr. Tomlinson’s differentiation methods
- Norman Webb’s Depth of Knowledge
- Karin Hess’s Extended Learning Strategies
- Practical examples of how to apply these strategies in the classroom

I think every school board member and administrator needs to hear this talk. I also feel that what he is encouraging in his classroom needs to be available to all educators. We need freedom to teach the way we need to teach and to address the needs that the students really have. Curriculum and textbook dependent learning is useless. Autonomy on our end helps the students become great learners and leaders on theirs.
