Description
Do you ever wonder how to best incorporate creative thinking into the classroom? The SCAMPER framework for creative thinking was designed to help teachers, and their students, integrate creative thinking into the classroom in a productive way. Alesha Haybin, Coordinator of Gifted Services at the Licking County ESC, will help participants work through a practical framework for creative thinking and will demonstrate how to incorporate creative thinking into various subjects.
In this 1-hour course teachers will learn:
- How to create a working definition of creative thinking
- How to measure creative thinking
- How to use the SCAMPER framework for creative thinking
- Practical strategies to incorporate SCAMPER in their classrooms
