The information was interesting and there was a lot of it, but I wish there was less “storytelling” and more practical examples of what teachers can use in the classroom.

  21. Cynthia – BEAUMONT ISD (verified owner)

It was realy great right up to the moment he gove false, wrong, bad idea, defenitions of ELL, ESL, and LEP. If he can fix or delete that slide I’m going to recomment this training for my district

  22. Nikki – MANSFIELD ISD (verified owner)

This was a helpful and engaging course. I would recommend this and Tim Gangwer to others. He has a fast pace, but help my attention the entire time. It is rare that I actually go to a workshop that is applicable to what I teach as a pull-out interventionist and ESL Lead teacher. This was a nice exception.

There were some very good ideas about visual learning.

    This course was very imformative.

Gangwer is a fascinating presenter. He always has a lot of information and always makes me laugh. That said, I sometimes struggle because he covers so many topics across what I feel is a broad spectrum of education. But he always has good ideas and helps me think about the big picture of my classroom. His visual literacy class has made me think about the decisions I make in my own classroom and the one’s I will make when I return.
